A School volunteer Force consisting of 5 boys and 5 girls in each school will be trained on various issues that confront children. The SVF will act like the Ambassadors of the Collector.

It is noticed that children who are studying in special schools in a child friendly atmosphere, once mainstreamed to regular schools, dropout very fast, as they are not able to adjust to the hostile atmosphere of regular schools.

In order to help the children to continue in school, 1000 children studying in the 11th and 12th standards from good economic background and with personal commitment will be trained to mentor these children who are mainstreamed to regular schools. An NGO by name Nalandaway, Chennai has been entrusted with the task of training the children who are to become mentors. It is hoped that this will prove the way for the retention of children in regular schools.
